Re: Hirogen vs. Klingon
More like rip off your arms.
In the episode "Prey", the Hirogen actually grapples with an 8472 (who have been seen tearing through Borg hull like aluminum foil).
Hell, just watch this.
At 8:03, look at the size disparity between the Hirogen and Tuvok or Seven. In this clip, at around 1:14, Tuvok slices the Hirogen's throat. It slows the Hirogen down for about a second before he easily disarms Tuvok, and tosses him across the room. Tuvok, a Vulcan, was about as effective against them as a wet towel.
Hirogen easily kicks the Klingon's ass. End of story.

Yeah, I forgot the episode so I forgot how sappy and horribly written it was... and boy was it bad.

B&B strike again.

Re: Hirogen vs. Klingon
That battle scene really makes me cringe - you've just got the actors spewing reams of technobabble and trying to look like they give a shit about it, with some overused rumble effects thrown in every few seconds. I can forgive the paucity of exterior shots because they were working on a TV budget, but still, it just seemed pathetic.

Let us not forget these mighty Hirogen hunters dressed as Nazis toying with the "revolution"
By the way, has any other Captain had they're ship captured as many times Janeway?

Has any other ship met so many new hostile species as Voyager?
Just saying...

No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Has any other ship created so many new hostile species? Or demonstrated such incompetence and downright stupidity? Given their performance in Basics I, I doubt it.stitch626 wrote:Has any other ship met so many new hostile species as Voyager?

Voyager has a knack for pissing off large numbers of people at once

"Kathryn Janeway's Guide to Starfleet Diplomacy and First Contacts" was never accused of being a best-seller...Mark wrote:Voyager has a knack for pissing off large numbers of people at once

Re: Hirogen vs. Klingon
Oh, it was a best seller alright. People thought it was a hilarious read.
