Even then, it wouldn't matter. Section 31 put their plan into effect as soon as the UFP made first contact with the Dominion. If you had posted in the other thread then more of the founders would have survived. Still, most would have died.

Since the Dominion HAS time, I'd spend a few decades infiltrating key positions in the AQ powers government. After I've destabilized everybody, I'd move through with one fell swoop. With the size of the fleet the Dominion has, they COULD have sacrificed ships to take down the minefield.

I am not sure. I merely pointed that out. It could be advantage, as the enemy will no longer be focusing their attack, but it might be a disadvantage, as they will spread the forces wider.
