Yeah I made it up. It was made by the Precussors, the ubiquitous first race of the Star Control universe. How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Standard sci-fi trope. To make us 'humble' and something to strive for, I guess.Monroe wrote:RK_Striker_JK_5 wrote:Yeah I made it up. Yeah probably. Wouldn't it be sad if we were our own universe's ancients?

"We're doomed!" [/Threepio]
LOL, yeah. And as an odd aside, I was tempted to do two SW characters instead of Optimus Prime, then Primal and Rhinox.

I don't like seeing no posts here since I'm a very impatient individual. I'll let you know our next stop that no one has been able to guess.

Never actually experienced any of Dune. Yes, I know. Bad Jon. I know the basics, Paul, the spice, giant worm things, Sting in some bad movie adaptation...

Wiki has a great deal of summary info on it. You could read it all in an hour and that would give you a idea of everything. Since our characters aren't required to know anything about the different places we go, it doesn't really matter.

Yup. And we probably won't get there for some time. We're still in HL2 and all.Deepcrush wrote:Wiki has a great deal of summary info on it. Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
I think most of us have been busy setting up the new 40K RPG, hence the lack of posts recently.
I'd post, but I'm not sure how to go about finding a Resistance member.
Perhaps getting into a firefight with a few Resistance members (we're in CP disguise after all), capturing one of them, interogating him, and then having him give up the location of one? Then we can group up with the other teams and head there.

Oh I forgot there was a new Warhammer 40k RP. That would explain that.Rochey wrote:I think most of us have been busy setting up the new 40K RPG, hence the lack of posts recently.

And that sounds like a plan Rochey.

Re: Crossover OOC Discussion
We're supposed to be in CP disguise? Dietrich's team is disguised as civvies...oops.
I'm going to try and get a post of them slogging through the canals getting mauled by barnacles and Phebes discovering the Replicators tomorrow morning.
Are the Human form Replicators considered to have a "soul" in the WH40K sense?

Only Rochey's team are in CP uniforms. Yours and Tsuki's and mine have civilian garbs.Cpl Kendall wrote:We're supposed to be in CP disguise? Dietrich's team is disguised as civvies...oops.

Good question... IDK if direct librarian powers would do anything; and I'd guess they're as immune to a blast of warp energy as they are to a directed-energy weapon.Cpl Kendall wrote:Are the Human form Replicators considered to have a "soul" in the WH40K sense?
