Starcraft

Does anyone else here still have a copy? I'd love to play a human opponent for once.

You sure aren't. I was pissed when it happened, though.

I was mostly pissed because it wouldn't win fair. I can accept massive wave after massive wave eventually crushing me but I'd rather have gotten to see just how many of the bastards I could have wiped out before they did it. My base defense was fucking epic.

Oh, and yeah Arcturus was a cocksucker.

Siege Tanks + choke points + air defense = dead enemies. :)

I blocked up the choke points with bunkers full of marines and then backed them with siege tanks. It was beautiful. The ultralisks were the only thing that could actually make it to the bunkers and then with four of them wailing away at him along with half a dozen siege tanks he'd get like one swipe and die.

Terrans could get scary with a good couple of choke points to defend.

I could never play Protoss worth a shit though.

 My formula was three Marines and one firebat per bunker, with an SCV to repair. Then at least three Siege Tanks right behind them. If necessary, a Goliath for air defense. Missile Turrets to cover most air attacks. Fun stuff. :)

It's a damn shame you lost your copy...

I was good with the Protoss; the Terrans were my weakest faction, Zerg the strongest.

I hated Zerg, I played Protoss, carriers FTW.

I'll look for my old CD Tsu. Its been YEARS though.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I think I've got a copy lying around somewhere, too. I'll have a look for it later today.

My strongest faction was the Zerg, with Protoss the weakest.

I do somewhere around here. I'd be up for a co-op game. I never was too big on versus people in RTS games for some reason.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

That was how I played it too. Usually depending on the shape of the choke point between 2 to 4 bunkers filled with marines and a couple of siege tanks. I used a battlecruiser once in a while. I usally left the offensive to Goliaths and the fighters, depending on my resources. In most games like that I like to hit and run tactics before a final strike.

I still have the disc, just haven't installed the game in the past few computers ago.
