I think that in Ezri's case, the presence of past personalities was put to use as a tool to develop a character, not replace one. I still think Terry Farrell was cuter, though.

I liked Ezri much better, Nichola De boar is hot.

but yes Ferralls acting was a bit ehh..

but Siddig's acting was superb i thought..

But was Dax reasonably developed? I'm sorry, but i find the whole Klingon connection to be completely absurd.
