Okay, I think I kind of get the whole principle now.
And, by the way, even though I agreed with you on the superiority debate, I still think you're clinging to terrestrial principles of organic materials. As you said, we're talking about organic components which function normally in vacuum - I think there may be other concessions we have to make regarding the abilities of these "alien" organic materials.
If I see evidence of abilities, I will conceed them. If I do not see evidence of these abilities, I treat them as 'normal'. Otherwise you can just throw every law of physics and biology out the window, and can't debate anything.
And by appearance, the Breen have the right of it; some sort of hybrid, mating their organic tech with conventional design features.
That's the most likely explaination.

Okay, I'll just assume that means its impossible.
Oh no, quantum computing isn't impossible, but just the "perfect" quantum computer impossible to our knowledge. That is something with virtually unlimited range and calculative speed, which may seem unsurprising that it is impossible, but if "Heisenberg Compensators" really are made, then it might just be possible!

So it is possible, just very, very difficult?

Hard to say either way. As of yet there is no real world evidence to support it so at the moment it is impossible until proven otherwise.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
