Yeah, that's kind of why I'm not going to go too deep into it at this point, and we'll let someone else what decides at SF.

Sorry........this past weekend was an unexpected nightmare. I should have some time in the next three days or so.

Oh, I know JAG, haha, I know court procedure fairly well, I think this may be a slightly more unconventional court martial, as it's meant to be a quicker one than a full long and out, it comes out to something like

"We know you did it, if you confess we'll give you a slap on the wrist and let it go"

"Ok, I did it, I'm sorry I saved the ship, glad to help anyday."
So... am I gonna get thrown in the brig for this.

Wait, what are military procedures for such things? Like saving everyone's lives?
Nah, you'll probably get a commendation for original thinking. ;)

That would be my original thinking, he just did what I was unable to, mostly because I don't know the ship well enough...

Hey Nick, it sounds more like a "Captain's Mast" than a "Court Martial". A "Captain's Mast" is the naval version of administrative, non judicial punishment, to include restriction to quarters, extra duty, a forfiture of pay, or even a loss of rank. One can waive their right to a Court Martial and accept a Captains Mast.

A "Court Martial" is a courtroom proceeding, in which ANY conviction in a Federal conviction. Not sure how that would translate into Starfleet terms, BUT a court martial isn't conducted by just the Captain. You need JAG prosecuter and defenders (or officers standing in).
