Medieval II Total War Wargame and RP?

Post by Monroe »

So I stumbled across a mod that allows for hotseat file passing in Medieval II Total War / Kingdoms. We can play the vanilla campaigns, really nice campaigns like The Long Road, Thera, the Russian Civil War, etc. So I figure we can RP kingdoms at war or peace on a Total War map. Could be fun but I'd actually really like to finish an RP for once :p

If we picked up any RP again, I'd like to start up the cross-over.

Likewise. I actually left the forums for like a year because that was closed down :P It had nothing to do with you Deep. I was upset the RP closed.

Tsuki is on board to return it. If we can get a few more he said Ian will bump it back into active.

Are we talking about the crossover? Yeah, I'll get back in if it goes live again.

Whats the Crossover about?
No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

It's a free-form, prose RP - pick a character or two from your favorite SF, then we slaughter adventure through all different SF universes. Peep it.

Well, really, pick your favorite two fictional characters, not necessarily sci-fi.

Mine are Jack Bauer from 24 and Roland Deschain from Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, for example.

I'd say as long as Striker and one other person are in, we have enough to continue satisfactorily.

Yeah, getting the transformers back would be important. So would getting Cain back but Emperor knows where Rochey is.

I reread the entire thread. I haven't reread the OOC thread yet but if memory serves me people just didn't like the location. We'll have to pick the next universe to meddle in carefully. Its tempting to throw in a lot of names so I'll try to hold back better :P that said though I had forgotten all about the Spathi :P

We also lost Kendall which slowed us and other things came up such as the Trek Sims. So we could just pick up with a GM doing the fill in and this time not drag it out so much.
