Didn't mean to screw with anyone, which is why I didn't mention anyone else's race or position specifically. I figured anyobody else could post at whatever poin in the race they liked. Besides, I obviously didn't finish the course.

Right. I was only in the race to get information on Kortaga's whereabouts, and now I've reminded Mikey that he also has a blood feud with the bastard (I'm picturing a rather gruesome death for the guy when we eventually catch him).

I succeeded, BTW. I'll try to get my next post up soon.

I wonder if anyone will ask questions when that Boslic ship doesn't come out the other side of the nebula...

Well, then I only temporarily disabled it before downloading the sensitive information from its computer. That would explain how my ship got blown up; trying to retreat before they got their weapons back online (and failing).

I threw in a bit.

Looks like we might be getting close the the end maybe.

Anybody who isn't considering themselves out of the running for the top spots (such as for other plot elements) Can go to

http://dice.evildm.net/index.php

and email a d100 roll to neoncoax@yahoo.com (me) I'll need one of you to send my roll to. There is an encryption code at the bottom to confirm the roll so anyone that wants can double check that there wasn't any funny business.

higher is better.

It served as a good foil for my introduction; otherwise, my character wouldn't care much about something like that.

It can go longer. It isn't all that uncommon for most of the exciting stuff in a sporting event to occur near the end. Particularily with races.

Though it is a bit harder to work with straightaways.

However I'm more concerned that we might not be able to even finish a page long race....

I'm out of the race, with a long, slow trip back to the Pride to listen to Tsu's story...

I'm on it. I had a minor problem involving my ancient 2002 BIOS not recognizing my new HD, but I somehow solved that... I'm not entirely sure how, but it's not the first time some software issue up and resolved itself for me.

Maybe I have some sort of benevolent Computer Gnomes fixing things for me...

I'll post today; I've got an interesting story to tell, albeit changed on the fly due to Blackstar needing the Boslic ship intact...

I'm not in the race in the first place, so I can't really do much for now.

The computer gods have been pleased with your efforts. Do you have a little kachina with a monitor instead of a face?
