Unfortunately not. I can suggest mythological names but not their meaning. Although Brynhildr means Byrnie of Battle.

I've written a few papers on comparative mythology - if you give me a particular reference, I might be able to define it.

OK, here's my desperate plea for help.

I seem to have painted myself into a corner with my (hopefully) clever and dramtic rescue. How do I get Sharkey off the Daystrom and to either Thrall's compound or the new vessel? I obviously can't hitch a ride with Blackstar... maybe I can hitch with Talora when she goes?

Sure! Well it won't be overly comfortable and I might be purposely annoying but hey!

Well, with Blackstar's escape, and Talora and Sharkey's resignation from Starfleet just about wrapped up, should we get this thing rolling?

Blackstar; why not name the ship after the kid? Eg; Starbolt's Pride, or something like that. You went through a hell of a lot to rescue her, after all.

Also, how long after the Daystrom event is this set? Have you and Talora just gotten the ship, and are hiring your first crew? Or is it a few years afterwards, with us being just a handful of the many replacements you've gotten over time?

Or are we simply going with the Starship Unnamed?

Starbolt's Pride...that's not bad. Anyone else like it?

I'd say this is set right after, with Thrall rushing to get the ship ready, resulting in things like those weaker disrupter cannons(which is partially compensated in that duel turret design). Maybe a month or two at most.

Good idea, Blackstar. So, will you be setting out to hire our characters individualy, or do we all just apply for the job en-masse?

I figure I pull into a base that is like the Tortuga of Star Trek and set up an application desk at a popular bar.

Well, I'm already with you... but yeah, I needed to stop by and see Thrall myself.

Damned if I can remember the name I thought of today, though. It was a great idea! :(
