.... Yyyeahnope they don't not at all they want to sell phones at high prices to the same customers repeatedly and those phones really aren't as good as they're made out to be, and God forbid you want some not-an-apple-employee to repair a cracked screen or broke usb port

6 episodes in and while the visuals are stunnung (especially for tv), the storytelling and pace doesn't match the quality of the visuals at all.
Listening to someone who knows the source material, lots of 'artistic license' in new characters and situations abound, adding to the overall feel of a disconnect between script and cinematography.
With such a gigantic budget, I expected better.
It aleady has been green-lit for season 2, with a total plan of 80 episodes total.
Doubtful it will last that long.

Update: finished season 1...while the action and writing got a bit better, they really telegraphed the big reveals soooo far in advance, it was lackluster.

Would I watch another season? With copious amounts of fast-forward!

Finally saw it, loved it but, I didn't read the original source material so I am on the outside looking in. The Emperor Cleon story was the most engaging, not necessarily because of the story itself but, rather Lee Pace's acting and charisma.
