Tonight's pasta dish: Orechietti (little ears) pasta drizzled with garlic butter, with grilled asparagus and spicy grilled pork loin...Nom Nom Nom!!!

The dough was excellent even though I made a half batch. Making the little ear shapes had a learning curve, but was in zen mode and rolling along in no time at all.

Pork loin is a 7-6-5 recipe for grilling: 7 mins on high heat, turn for 6 more mins, the turn off the heat and don't open the lid for 5 mins. Been using it for years, always turns out great!

Asparagus with olive oil, salt and lemon pepper, charred on the grill a few mins each side.

garlic => evil.

Sounds like you are enjoying the preparations as much as the results. :)

Always been more of a invent/prep person, and seeing how others enjoy each creation. It's a small way to give back to those who give me so much!

I might require a pasta interventionist or a priest to exorcise this Italian nonna out of my brain...

Tonight was spicy chicken and jalapeno ravioli with a little chili oil.

The obsession is real..lol

I still feels like early 2020. Not a couple of weeks until 2022.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Tell me about it. The past two years have blended together into an odd smear.

Me too.

It feels like 2019 was just last year to me too.
