USS Vol'Rala (AGC-7-10)

Post by Meste17 »

Well, now I officially LOVE the Andorians, as they are the only ones smart enough to know gratitude enough to show it.

So, with that in mind, seeing as how there is a USS Vol'Rala mentioned in one of the recent Enterprise books, do you all think she would have successors down the line, say a Nebula-class, that would bear the name?

Say a USS Vol'Rala launched in the 2360s?

Yes. The Federation is huge and needs a large amount of ships. With alot of members especially those who are the founding members, it makes sense for ships to have Alien names instead of American/British names.

I won't touch whether or not that name is Cannon or not.

There is a tendency for Starfleet to be rather human-centric with their naming conventions (along with anything else,) but there's a fair chance of a famous Andorian (or Vulcan, or Tellerite) ship having its name recycled. There's no telling if it would be a Nebula-class or not, of course, though I'd suspect the Andorians would push for one of the more warlike classes.

Something like say a Defiant class escort or a Nebula class with a weapons pod on it?

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
