Quick Ptolemy class render

Post by Graham Kennedy »

One of the nice things about Franz Joseph's designs is that there's a big element of kitbashing to them. Hence it's pretty easy to turn a Saladin class destroyer into a Ptolemy class tug :

You figured out the hull lines.

Why is the hull yellow though?

Why not? There's no real consensus I can find on what colour the TOS ships should be. They're not white, and grey looks wrong to my eyes. Some sort of off-white seems right, which is what I tried for with this. Does look a bit yellow though, yeah. Easy enough to change it, though.

Yellow just seems off to me.

Good call.

On a vaguely similar line, have you got any plans for a Coalition DITL?

Actually there is one, it's just not online. :)

Although it's very much smaller than DITL. Just pages with the various ships and things on it.
