Borg VS the Phase Pistol
Ok, help me out here. The Borg that make an apperance in Enterprise are supposed to be survivors from the destroyed Sphere in First Contact, right? So, that being the case, how come they are vulnerable to the "phase" weapons tech of the era? If they had adapted to phaser tech, over two hun...

Re: Star Trek: The Experience: The end
When I lived in Vegas, I went a few times. Was cool as hell  Moved before they chenged to the Borg theme. I even got to enjoy a glass of Bloodwine at Quarks (a nice merlot) and yes, it was a high priced theme resuranunt, but quite entertaining to get served by a waiter in full ferengi make up. ...

Re: Star Trek: Of Gods and Men
Yep, in fact mid last month they released the final act. But, grab something to drink and a bag of chips, 'cause each act is just over a half an hour 8)

Star Trek: Of Gods and Men
I recently was introduced to this fan fic, 3 part webisode, starring Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, and Alan Ruck all reprising their roles as now Captain Uhura, soon to Admiral Chekov, and Captain Harriman. It also has many cast members from all the different series. It is a hell of a "what ...

Re: USS Exeter
Ok, I've had a new idea (post morning coffee). Perhaps they may have de-commissioned USS Exeter, then re-commissioned her under a new name. That way, you could properly honer the lost crew, do an Exeter memorial, and still have the ship itself in service.
Likelyhood?

Re: Hand Phasers
With variable power non-lethal settings. Could you see trying to taser a Gorn? Mark that one down under the bad idea catagory. (Hell of funny mental picture though) Said taser better have quite a punch like hmmm 1.21 jigawatts. (place the quote )

Re: Under which Captain would you rather serve?
I have to say, Captain Sisko. Can you think of a more interesting duty station than DS9? At Quarks you could enjoy the entire line of "Vulcan Love Slave" holosuite programs. Have your clothes tailor made (forget the replicator) by a spy, and learn how to kick butt from Sisko (remember, he ...

Re: Question about Wolf 359
But what about weapon techs that are basically the same, like Klingon and Romulan disruptors? Wouldn't you think that if the Borg adapted to the Klinon disruptors at Wolf 359, then Romulan weapons most likely wouldn't work from the on-set

Re: Hand Phasers
Did anybody else ever wonder why The Great Bird of the Galaxy wanted to carry phasers away from the "gun" look? I mean, that's one of their primary functions. At a convention I once bought a replica season 4 type 2 phaser (with lights and sounds) for about $200 dollars  with a laser ...
