Re: Stuff that annoys the hell out of you

Calamari also sucks, it's like eating one of the elastics I tie my hair up with...gross! It's been overcooked then, typical of a restuarant (low end or chain anyways) cause they don't want you to get food poisoning. Wasn't exactly low end or chain. I don't know if anyone can convince me to try it a...

Re: Star Wars Alpha Thread

Aniera shuts down the turret controls, breathing a soft sigh and wiping her hands on a cloth. Across the hall are two ensigns working on installing another turret, she eyes the two and steps across the hall, the door shutting behind her. Her foot lightly nudges the one under the control panel. He pe...

Re: Star Wars Alpha Thread

Aniera slides out from under a control panel, brushing a few strands of hair from her eyes. She nibbles on her lower lip and presses a button on the control panel. "Let's hope it works this time" She says to herself. A hum comes from gun turret in front of her and the panel lights up. She ...

Re: Times you needed a pronunciation guide

I'm weird. I can say things like Polymethylpentene and hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride. But I have the hardest time with greek writers...I can sympathize with the So-crates thing (Curse you Bill and Ted!) but others that I can't even spell to begin with totally stumped me when I was taking ancient l...

Re: College/University Degrees

Even knowing what's in gelatin makes me a bit off-put by it, but jell-o is just so damn good. :D I'm just glad you aren't working on anti-psychotics; I distrust the industry's current ability to successfully tamper with brain chemistry. Cancer vaccine? Like the one for HPV? I'm assuming you're work...

Well the thing we're working on was recently approved in Russia for Renal Cell Carcinoma but we're also working on other types of cancers.

addendum: Horse hooves are -not- in gelatin :)
