Re: Romulan Fleet

That's true but we don't know if the Shimitar uses only Romulan technology. I didn't see any Valdores firing weapons while being cloaked and even if the Scimitar uses only rom tech it is huge and probably be able to carry a huge warp core with the latest (if not most advanced rommie warp tech). Who ...

Re: Romulan Fleet

Man I'm gone for a day and the subject is 7 pages long... Anyway as Graham mentioned the Warbird in Tin Man fired seven times not two and then I personally don't think that, by the small battle in this episode, we can assume the power and tech level of the Warbird. I mean a WW2 era battleship would ...

Re: Romulan Fleet

That's probably due to the lack of diversity in their fleets, and the fact they had less ships. Exactly, didn't the Romulan force number only several hundred ships (400 or so) compared to the thousands of Federation and Klingon vessels? We don't know the exact numbers of ships. Only that dom forces...

Re: Romulan Fleet

During various DS9 battles we see Federation ships go down like a mob hit with a shotgun as well.[/quote]

Re: Romulan Fleet

During the dom wars the rommies didn't manage very well either. At the last battle their lines were the first to collapse and at the end of the war they were in as bab a shape as the klingons

Re: Romulan Fleet

The Scimitar was built secretly by the Remans and we don't know if it uses only Romulan tech. I don't know if we should take this ship as a clear indication of Romulan tech capabilities. On the other hand I admit that when I said that rom tech is pathetic I underestimated it. I believe that though t...

Re: Romulan Fleet

Ok great maneuverability great cloak but nothing else. The thing had 52 disrupter cannons and 27 Torp. Tubes.
Built a fed ship with 52 pulse phaser can. and 27 quantum torp launchers and then we can count how many seconds a sov would last in a battle against it.

Re: Romulan Fleet

The Scimitar is so strong because it has an enormous size. The only great tecnology it has is the ability to fire through cloak. The valdore class in comparison with the sov is nothing great.

Re: Ship of the week: Galor

After WW1 the German people felt betrayed by the Kaizer and the general belief was that they hadn't lost the war. The preparations for WW2 begun before Hitler came to power. Teaos stated that Hitler was probably a good thing and I agree more or less with that statement. The Germans could have conque...

Re: Romulan Fleet

When comparing size and firepower The Defiant is not the rule is the exception. I am comparing the Saber and the Steam with a Hideki class a small Klingon Bird of prey, a dom bug ship or a miranda
