It's worth repeating that the the Allies did NOT defeat the Dominion. They defeated - or would have defeated - that fraction of the Dominion forces which had been put into the Alpha Quadrant. How big a fraction that is, we can't know. Personally I doubt it was more than, say, 10% of the fleet. If so...

Tell us a joke!
A guy walks into a bar. He sees two pieces of meat nailed to the ceiling. Curious, he points at them and asks the barman "what's that about?" "It's a standing bet we have," says the barman "You get one go to jump up and rip them down. If you win, free drinks every night for ...

Check out the ep that introduces 8472 again. If you disagree with my conclusion please give your own theory as to how being hit by one of 8472's claws is different from being hit by Worf's sword. I repeat - go watch the ep. I'm not doing your research for you. When an observed phenomena clearly vio...
And 8472 being able to do such in no way means that bullets and such would do the same; that's rather the point of 8472. Kinetic engergy is kinetic energy, no two ways about it. Check out the ep that introduces 8472 again. Bog-standard Borg, fine, the exoskeleton would distribute the impact around ...
We've never seen Borg personal shields stop kinetic impacts. My examples were non-exhausive, as Species 8472 destroyed unknown numbers of drones in hand-to-hand combat (they've not demonstrated any hand-held energy weapon). Indeed conservation of momentum would make the usefulness of kinetic shield...

Not that I know of. But given that they apparently kept a fleet of four thousand plus ships sitting at their end of the Dominion wormhole after Sisko mined it, for a period of weeks to months, and given that everybody talked about re-opening the wormhole as if it would mean the instant end of any ho...
Perhaps the borg shields could stop it? Borg shields have a big problem with projectile weapons - see Picard's Tommy gun and Worf's sword thingy in FC. This makes sense given that they're dependent on frequency - solid objects don't have frequencies. I get really tired of hearing this spoken like i...

Who would you most like to see come back next?
Well? We've had the Daleks, Cybermen, the Master... so who next?
Personally, I would love love LOVE to see the Sontarrans again. Those little buggers creeped me right the hell out as a kid!
