Have you read our Transwarp article? It details the various times that we've seen transwarp used and tries to unify them. We also have a scitech entry which explains it in a more 'within universe' way, with a good deal of speculation on our 'chosen' unified theory.

If this is true it's odd that they are calling it 're-imagining' since imagination is the one thing that's completely lacking in this process.

Both Graham and I are on a Mac. It works fine for me in Firefox, however, looking at Safari I can see there is a problem. I'll add it to the list of things to look at.
