I hope they give this movie th...

I wonder if Patrick Stewart took the picture. I kinda geeked out on this pic.

Re: 'Top Gun 2' Starts Production

Ah, the film we've all been clamouring for. Haven't we? The Navy has 55 year old pilots, right? He's probably an instructor or something, because the USN likes having insubordinate pricks who almost got shitcanned teaching the next gen. Or something. Maybe we find him hauling vulcanized faux canine...

My brother in law introduced me to Viking metal. I didn't even know that was a thing till just a few days ago. Anyway, here's his favorite group (and I admit, it's starting to grow on me), Einherjer (pronounced en-HAIR-yur): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXhhF0NR4wU The name translates as "un...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

I feel like it's been forever since I've contributed here. I've been busy working 2 jobs one day shift and one night shift, so I have a lot of time to read but not a lot of time to post, aside from the occassional low-effort post in the Discovery reddit :D All that being said, the Mrs and I are exp...

Re: Robin Hood (2018 Movie) Teaser Trailer

Here. https://www.youtube.com/embed/BpqR6Ca-LL8 Cleanse your palette with a good Robin Hood movie. Little known fact: Many of the Sherwood Forest scenes in this movie were filmed very close to me (about a half an hour's drive away) in Chico, California's Bidwell Park. And yeah, this new movie...loo...

Re: Pitch a Trek miniseries

I have a 3 book series in the TNG era called Genesis Wave, where someone has perfected the Genesis device, only this time, it's in the form of a cosmic wave that sweeps across the Alpha Quadrant, transforming planets in its wake. It would make for an interesting miniseries.

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary at South Lake Tahoe at the Beach Resort Hotel. Our hotel room was right on the water, just open the sliding glass door and walk 50 feet and your feet are in very cold water. Just got back today. I had no idea how big that lake was till I got there. It is bea...
