Re: Sci-Fi Babes/Hunks

And to celebrate the 100th page of this thread about babes, we talk about dismembered breasts. :DITL:

Miniature Enterprise D Refit

Just thought I'd share a few pics of a neat miniature I bought for $8 at the local hobby shop. It was a grab bag, so I wasn't sure what I'd be getting, but one of the employees helped me guess at which one might be the Enterprise D by fondling the package and looking at the bar code. He will receive...

Re: What's the latest in people's lives?

How does that saying go? Cheaters never prosper, unless Deepcrush is said cheater... Is Left 4 Dead an FPS? Which system are you using? Call me crazy, but I still prefer old SNES games. I even took up the hobby of customizing Super Mario World. There's an amazing editor that people do amazing things...

Re: Music in the 24th Century

Welp, I'm going to back off from the economic conversation, because I'm more interested in the music scene. I'm going to go with a blanket statement: since quality of life is better, and people probably have more free time and better education methods, live music in the 24th century is possibly (and...

Re: Music in the 24th Century

Why? Why are people suddenly going to take time out of their day to impart their knowledge upon you for nothing? Same reason they're going to risk their lives in Starfleet for free. Trek does send a mixed message about money, but my take is that there is no money in the federation. I'm sure some pe...

Re: Music in the 24th Century

And how will it get there again? Well, lessons will be free. Instruments will be free (or very cheap). The complete knowledge of music will be freely available. Holodecks will be free. Anyways, this takes advantage of the somewhat silly utopian communist economy that makes so much of Trek possible ...

No, I just think those skirts are HOT, and she would fill one out nicely. It'd also be interesting to see an Orion female in more than a bikini for once.

Re: Music in the 24th Century

Also, there's that one scene in TNG where the young boy is complaining that he doesn't want to learn calculus, which leads me to believe that teaching methods have evolved considerably by then.
