Re: Funny pics
The baby naming is really getting out of hand. I am of the opinion these 'unique' names are not for the baby itself but for the parents. Some sort of narsistic play on how unique their child is, different from the others, maybe even better. In the end, that kid will go through correcting people in ...

Re: Star Wars in our universe
In agreement with what? You previously stated the Star Wars galaxy is 13 billion years old. Your latest says the galaxy at the time of the setting is only 9 billion years old. It is hard to agree with anything if there are contradictions, and this is a 4 billion year contradiction. Also, it is a fic...

Re: Star Wars in our universe
Well some sources actually claim it could be as far as 4.7 billion years before today. Anyone agree? Claim Star Wars to be 4.7 billion years before today? If so, it cannot be set in our universe, if the Star Wars galaxy is supposed to be 13 billion years old, as that would make the universe it is s...

First Contact Day (April 5th)
For the past few years I have been observing First Contact Day each year with a Star Trek movie marathon. I shall be doing the same again this year, luckily it falls inside school holidays which means I can't go out anyway (because I have social phobia+, which is just 1000 times worse outside of sch...

Re: Star Wars in our universe
As mentioned above, it is completely wrong that all galaxies formed at the same time. Most galaxies are between 10-13.6 billion years old. That is a 3.6 billion age gap between the earliest and latest. Stars continue to be born and die. It specifically says "A long time ago in a galaxy far away...

Watched Glass, the sequel to Unbreakable and Split. Pretty decent film overall, like all three of them.

Re: Star Wars in our universe
Wasn't there some book or film, where Han and Chewie ended up on Earth a few centuries ago?
I could be entirely imagining things, or heard someone mention a fanfic, there's so much stuff now I don't know, and I have never been much into Star Wars to be honest (as you know Meste).

The Alternate
I watch a lot of parallel universe films, any I can find. It was okay, not fantastic, but interesting enough. It is the first full film I have made it through in a while.

Deep Space Nine Promenade
Hey, so as part of one of my worldbuilding projects, I desire to recreate the Promenade as much as possible to integrate into my Minecraft project (which is city-based, but I just really want to add the Promenade :) Anyway, I have done quite a bit of digging and can't find any suitable answers, so j...
