Re: Pieces of a Mirror
The novels are not canonical, to my knowledge. Therefore the events of the novels (which also often differ from author to author) do not always conform with what we see onscreen. Canonically, there is no "Galactic Commonwealth", and if Prodigy confirms the restoration of the Terran Empire,...

Re: Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer
I saw it last night with my autism support team, my first cinema trip in ~2 years, and it was fantastic. Such fun. I watched the previous two films over the two days prior on Disney Plus.
Actually the best film I've seen in a fair while!

Re: Deadpool & Wolverine Trailer
I'll avoid YouTube, don't use it much anyway, but not seeing it until near the end of August so want to avoid as many spoilers as possible.
Glad to hear the great feedback about it though Teaos.

Yeah, both seasons are on Netflix here in the UK, just checked, I might just watch them over the summer as I will be housebound for 6 weeks. Should get through a fair chunk of it at least.

Re: Paramount+ Is Hiking Subscription Prices Again
LOL. To be fair, my primary motivation for trying Disney+ was to finally watch the majority of Star Wars (I've seen five of the films, but before I got Disney, but I want to watch Clone Wars and some of the other stuff). So far, I have started to watch three other series (none actually science ficti...

Re: Paramount+ Is Hiking Subscription Prices Again
I had Paramount+ included in my Sky Stream package, but I cancelled the Sky Package as it just had nothing I was watching. I had Netflix included too, which I do use, so whilst I gave up Sky and Paramount+, I have a year sub to Disney which I have already used far more than either Sky or Paramount+....

Re: Site outage
Thanks for the update Ian, and for all you do to keep the place running.
I had been concerned as I had tried quite a few times to get on site, but I am thankful you have it back up.
Thanks again!

Re: New OG Trek
For me, the issue with the newer stuff is nothing to do with the apparent "wokeness" or anything like that, which I have seen a lot of people complain about in FB groups before my self-exile from most social media. It's is more about how they told the story, and also, particularly for Disc...

Re: New OG Trek
I've still been unable to get through Enterprise , despite multiple attempts, to be honest. I rewatch all pre-Abrams films, as well as all three of the TNG-era Treks (DS9 being my favourite), but I have tried all of the post Voyager stuff except Prodigy , and just not feeling it. I have watched ever...
