Re: The Youtube video thread!

Firefly. Could’ve been a great show (it was a great 1st season, but the reasons it never got green lighted for any more is a ((another)) dark page in SciFi TV history) :( One of the funnier scenes of how to handle negotiations with criminals or people of ill repute. I too love the information, what gets me is the surprise of the "learned class" at the discovery. We are talking about a species of critter that will eat anything that doesn't poison it (and maybe a few things that do).

Re: Christian megachurch cancels faith healing service in response to coronavirus outbreak

A little backstory first, in High School there is always that kid that is picked on and made fun of, ridiculed. I was that kid, H.S. was hell for me with very little respite. Out of a small group that just loved to belittle me was one individual that took it above and beyond. I had dealt with anger ...

With the previous impeachment scams, I'm not suprised at all.

Re: Happy Impeachment Day

Not going to go past the Senate unfortunately. No Republican will want to risk their position to stand up against their own party. It's not even that sadly. It's the two party system the US has. Either you are with us or against us. If for example a Republican voted against his own party, he or she...

Re: The Youtube video thread!

That's the one Nutso, I love the very logical idea that you will interpret a story in a way familiar to yourself. If I say boat and you see a coracle, guess what, the Ark is going to be a giant coracle to you. "And Noah made a big thing to float on water." A baris? A coracle? A raft? A ca...

The History Guy makes for an enjoyable afternoon. I have to reserve some love for Irv, I really enjoyed his take on the Ark story.
