Re: Gamma mission sign in

Ooo, pilot position, temping...then again, so is Klingon warrior. Oh the the choices.

If I went Klingon, what are the odds of getting in on the captured cruiser? It'd be a good intro for him, been hidden among the klingon crews until just now.

Re: Gamma mission sign in

I could certainly do a Romulan or Klingon. Is there a majority of one over the other? Hate to find my character all by himself with nothing but NPCs for company :)

Re: Gamma mission sign in

Cool :)

Is there any specific role or posting that needs to be filled?

Re: Gamma mission sign in

Is it still possible to sign up for this RP, or is it too far in at this point? And if it is, is there anything of great relevance I need to know? I've been plodding through the threads, but it's a lot of info to take in.

Re: Dominion ship building

I'm sure they do, but lets face it, the Founders are jerks. Poor Vorta probably don't even have dental coverage. That's what they get for not having a Union.

Re: Dominion ship building

A tailor made race would certainly fit the founders style, they seem to enjoy reshaping "solids" to fit their needs, and when they do one of these reshapes, they make the race very specific to the job at hand. I'm apt to agre with the crewman here. Their MO seems to be specialization, eve...

Re: Dominion and cloaks

Didn't they have to stand still to use their personal cloak? Maybe their cloaking tech wasn't really cloaking, the bending of light around an object, but active camoflague, a smart system that projected an image of whatever is behind the object being hidden on it's opposite side to give the illusion...

Re: Borg invasion

The dominion would crush a single borg cube. Not only do they have a dedicated and genetically engineered race of warriors, but they have MASSIVE numbers. The only reason the combined might of the major powers of the alpha/beta quadrent even stood a chance was that that DS9 blockaded the only route ...

Lets not forget that they flew to the center of the galaxy in short order as well, showing a rate of speed never before or again displayed.

Re: Borg invasion

Wasn't trying to rub it in or anything, just adding my two credits. No one had mentioned that the borg don't usually engage in pointless acts of destruction, so it seemed worth adding.

Re: Borg invasion

It makes more sense for them to have been tractored up, the borg destroy only when directly threatened, and even then they'll often choose to assemulate if they can manage it. A couple of small colonies certainly couldn't have provided a very big threat to a cube.
