Re: What if Voyager had been a Sovereign-class?

And yet after pissing off some race by tresspassing through their space to save a month or so, and taking damage for it and possibly losing some b cast crew member, they would still stop to check out some interesting space anamoly. I'm sorry, but what the hell? If you're so desperate to get home th...

Re: Sol post Dominion War.

I'd build up squads of patrol ships using the following set up per squad 1 sovereign: The heavy of the group, used to engage other large captial ships, or scatter groups of smaller vessels. Having a 3 1/2 million ton battleship bearing down on you would make it hard to hold formation. The sovereign ...

I'd call that more ironic than a shame.

Re: Why didn't VOY head to the Gamma Quadrant?

The DITL galatic map shows it pretty well. The wormhole isn't exactly next door, but it's a good deal closer then trying to fly across the whole damn galaxy.

Re: Galaxy-Class (Dominion War Refit) Vs. Galaxy Class

Woudnt really be anymore unsafe than a warp core, infact it would be safer since a core is activly crashing M/AM together while this thing would just be holding it. Doesnt matter how big a boom you die in, the end result is the same. True, but trying telling that to a person's feelings. Plus there ...

Re: Sol post Dominion War.

Spacedock is horrible for defence, sure its big and strong but it only covers a tiny fraction of the planets defence and is eady to avoid since it cant really be moved. There is also the "all your eggs in one basket arguement, honestly, I would prefer a lot of drydocks for fleet building and 1...

Re: Galaxy-Class (Dominion War Refit) Vs. Galaxy Class

Yeah, no sane person would want to fly around with that big of a boom resting over their heads...but damn would the results be impressive.

Re: Galaxy-Class (Dominion War Refit) Vs. Galaxy Class

You know what they should have done with the saucer on the refit? Strip out all the important features (or never put them in to begin with if building from the frame up) and pack it full of AM and slap on some boosters. Battle time comes around, saucer seperates to become the galaxy's biggest torped...

Re: The Wait Is Over

if done right. That being the key point there. How many movies could have been great if done right? Don't get me wrong, I agree, and the little kid in me is excited, I loved that book. But there is so little to it, kid causes trouble, gets sent to his room without supper, and escapes to an imaginar...

...wow, just wow. And here I was thinking someone making " where the wild things are" into a live action movie was an odd choice.

Re: Movies you hate to admit you like.

My bad there, been having one of those days I think. I totally didn't even consider such little things as forum rules. Not the rules, per se, but the fact that Tyyr wasn't happy about it. Wait, we care about people's feelings here? What an odd concept for an online forum... Kidding of course...

Good luck to you, you'll need it. I proof Tyyr's stuff and let him bounce ideas off me, and I must say that he is a sick sick man. Just check out his mediaminer page
