How to Give a Cat a Pill 1. Pick up cat and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth, pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to clos...

Re: Hell's Kitchen

Good lord. I'd say the new 90210, the new Melrose Place, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Two and a Half Men, According to Jim, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, Survivor, Big Brother, and a couple of other shows I can't bring myself to remember are cancers on society Agreed, agreed, agre...

Re: Gamma Mission Prep

I could easily go either way really. My usual method for character interaction is to throw em together and see what feels right.

Re: This is AMAZING!

It knew Spock, no surprise, as well as batman. Passed the easy characters no prob. It surprised me by getting the Question (DC hero). Stumped it with Tokimi though (Tenchi Muyo Goddess) and J.T. Marsh (Exosquad).

Re: Hell's Kitchen

Ugh, I can NOT stand Gordon Ramsay. I would gladly know nothing about the man, but my fiance watches both his shows, so I hear plenty. I really don't care how good of a chef he is or how successful a business man he's been, the man is a total and complete asshole. Being good at something is not an e...

Re: Alien prequel confirmed....may God help us all

There are some flims out there that, once you get passed the intial " WTF is going on?" moment, are really pretty good...though for the life of me I can't bring any to mind at the moment.

Re: What if Voyager had been a Sovereign-class?

I think that makes her a good case for keeping science officers out of the command chain, unless they are given a purely science oriented ship.

Re: Sol post Dominion War.

More of a "lets stick to the UFP and not bringing in other Universes" idea. Lighthawk has a pretty good overall plan. The fleet he built would serve well not only in protecting Earth but if on rotation as he said would also serve well for the Romulan Border and the other Core Worlds which...

Re: Sol post Dominion War.

Not that I can recall seeing, but I'm think there were shown cases of a ship just getting blasted hard enough that it dropped them from warp. Possibly the impact knocks them around enough that the warp field collapses, or else some safety system shuts off the warp engines once they get enough out of...

Re: The Scimitar vs...

You guys are thinking too simply. Remember, most ships have full weapons coverage. But you can't hit a ship in front of you with aft weapons. So you should be able to hit more than one ship at a time without losing firepower. Debatable, that's assuming that said ship has power to fire all it's weap...

Re: Galaxy-Class (Dominion War Refit) Vs. Galaxy Class

Well, if I am in an engagement and I am forced to abandon ship I would not want to sit in an escape pod which are sitting ducks and easily destroyed. (why are they not valid targets? just because the founders had pity on them once?) Now the saucer is also a sitting target in galactic terms but at l...
