In case anyone hasn't seen these. I especially love the clips of the Romulans. Seems like JJ rewrote the way Stardates are done, now referencing the year?

Re: Star Trek Winning The Race!!
a little premature, as we surely must wait for ironclad opening weekend box office gross numbers, but a very good sign, nonetheless.

um yes, it makes sense if you read recent interviews from JJ Abrams, and the scenes of the Narada firing on San Francisco, certainly begs the question.

WRT the big bang at the end, did Nero perhaps get a hold of some sort of sun-buster tech?
Methinks that the stalker 'father time' caught up with that bloke in 19odd94, dagnabbit!

Re: ST:XI Predictions Thread
Not sure if anyone thought of this, but I bet that Earth is destroyed at the beginning of this film, possible after Romulus, and Spock somehow alters the current timeline, causing the new and divergent timeline. What do you think?

Re: Some new views of the movie...
Honestly, and I mean HONESTLY! I dont know how these boards cannot be completely erupting after this most recent trailer. This trailer gave me chills, and represented star trek in the epic focus that it always deserved. I always hated that star wars always had the edge on 'epic' in the conventional...

Re: You're a Captain, you get to pick your starship. Which class?
You're a mid 2370s era Starfleet captain, you are given the ability to pick your own starship and mission. Which class of starship do you pick and what type of mission will you go on for this cruise? Class: Prometheus Mission: Whooping Romulans' asses everytime they violate the Neutral Zone, which ...

Re: What Would YOU Do?

Or, realizing the magnitude of your predicament, would you not make it such a priority to get home as soon as possible but rather comeaccept the fact t...

I really was left wondering. I think they could have been the next great Trek race, even touched on in Voyager, despite the fact that they're all dead.

Re: Cardassian Ship Technology
If they had the means, coudl they develope a ship as powerful as the Galaxy-class, Vorcha-class, D'drieniex-class? If so, what would it look like and how many could be produced? This is funny, I just watched 'the wounded' and I literally guffawed when Picard was talking to Gul Macet (I think) of th...

I would think a Galor to be an equal match for an Excelsior class.
