YATI :
Mister DeSeve defected to the Romulans nearly twenty years ago because he was so impressed by their single-mindedness. Yet in "The Neutral Zone", it is claimed that there has been no contact with the Romulans for fifty three years! What could DeSeve have found so impressively single minded about several decades of total silence?
Great Moment :
Troi finally getting something a little meaty to do!
Body Count :
N'Vek is killed by a disruptor blast, plus eighteen people on the freighter.
Factoid :
In the first version of this story it was Crusher who was aboard the Romulan ship rather than Troi, and her mission was to deliver the vessel itself into Federation hands. At one point it was considered having the escaping Romulans reveal that Spock had tried to escape and been killed, but it was decided that it was unfair to kill off such a major character offscreen.

Plotline

Counsellor Troi is abducted and wakes to find herself on a Romulan Warbird, disguised as a feared intelligence officer. She must tread a delicate path to pull off a major coup for the Federation.
