Plotline
With the help of the Borg Queen, Agnes is able to set up access for Picard and the team to the Europa Gala event. Once in they try and blend in, but Adam Soong spots Picard and informs security that he is dangerous. They attempt to capture him, but Agnes cuts the lights and starts singing, the band join in. At the end the audience claps and the resultant rush of endorphins allows the Borg Queen to take control.
Q, pretending to be Renée's therapist, stokes her insecurities using text messages. She leaves the party. Picard escapes security and is able to catch up with her. He talks to her and manages to convince her that she is up to the job. She confirms that she will be going on the mission. Soong, seeing her improved mood, attempts to run her over with a car. Jean-Luc pushes her out of the way at the last moment and is run down instead, leaving him in a coma.
When Soong returns home he rants at Kore, who is concerned at the things he is saying. Later she invesigates his work and discovers that she is the end result of a long line of genetic experiments.
At Teresa's clinic, Tallinn uses a device to enter Picard's mind, hoping to help him to wake up.
