Guinan's timeline is a bit odd here. We have her owning a bar in 2024, which is located at 10 Forward Avenue. However, she is yet to meet Picard and certainly hasn't been on the Enterprise in this time period. She's back at that bar again in the later time period of 2401 at the start of the season. So when she was on the Enterprise-D surely the bar she ran wasn't called "Ten Forward" after her old bar on Earth. If so, it's amazing that it happened to be on deck 10 at the forward part of the ship.
Great Moment :
Nice to see Picard meet with the younger Guinan.
Body Count :
None
Factoid :
The punk on the bus is listening to a song called "I Still Hate You", a follow-up to "I Hate You", which was played in front of Kirk and Spock by a punk on a bus in The Voyage Home. Infact, the punk is played by the very same actor, who is also the singer on both songs.

When we see Renée Picard for the first time she is sitting in Jackson Roykirk Plaza. This is a reference to the inventer of the Nomad probe, seen in the TOS episode "The Changeling"

This episode is a nominee for the DITL "Worst of Trek" award.

Plotline

Picard and Agnes learn that the event they must prevent is to take place in three days time, on the 15 April 2024. Picard transports to Los Angeles and finds a young version of Guinan that hasn't met him yet. Guinan has become increasingly disappointed with humans and has been planning to leave Earth. Picard talks with her and asks if she knows the watcher. She hasn't heard that term but knows of a "Supervisor" who acts as a "Guardian Angel" for someone on Earth.

Seven and Raffi visit the clinic in an attempt to find Rios. They discover that he has been picked up by ICE as he doesn't have any papers. They attempt to free him but fail to make headway with the police. Rios meanwhile is sent to a sanctuary district on the southern border in readiness for being deported.

Seven and Raffi steal a police car and attempt to follow Rios, however, they are soon chased by police and only escape by being beamed out at the last moment. Rios is put on a bus heading for the border.

Picard convinces Guinan to help him find the "Supervisor" and she takes him to a park. After talking to a number of people he finally meets the "Supervisor", who turns out to look exactly like Laris, but appears to be Human, they both teleport away.

Q is sitting at a cafe outside the "Jackson Roykirk Building". He is watching a girl who is part of the Europa spaceflight mission. He plans to plant an idea in her head that the mission is going to be a failure and she is going to be responsible for that failure. He snaps his fingers but finds that his powers don't work, much to his surprise.
