Some 3,600 miners are killed when the shuttlepod sets of the explosion. Quite a few Suliban are injured or killed during the raid on the stealth cruiser. An unknown number are killed in the future when the temporal bad guys pull their trick.
Factoid :
James Horan, who has played the shadowy Humanoid throughout Enterprise, also played Ikat'ika in DS9's "By Inferno's Light" and "In Purgatory`s Shadow", Tosin in Voyager's "Fair Trade", Lieutenant Barnaby in TNG's "Descent: Part 2", and Dr. Jo'Brill in TNG's "Suspicions".

Enterprise pays a courtesy visit to a planet with a colony of several thousand alien miners. Unfortunately, on the way down the shuttlepod ignites a gas released by the mining process, setting off a huge explosion which destroys the whole colony. The Vulcans convince Starfleet to recall the ship and close down their program of space exploration for another ten or twenty years, plunging Archer into depression and self-doubt. But an unexpected temporal visitor offers a way out of the dilemma - one which will bring Archer into direct conflict with the Suliban and threaten Mankind's future.
