Janus IV [1] Home of the Horta species [1]
Japori II [2] Planet which was the site of Dekora Assan's murder. [2]

In 2381 Japori II was one of the Alpha Quadrant planets targeted in the Borg attack. [3]
Jaros II [4] Planet where Ro Laren was imprisoned by Starfleet [4]
Jemonon [5] A Federation planet in the Taurus Reach. In 2265 the USS Bombay visited the colony on the planet. [5]
Jeraddo [6] Fifth moon of Bajor. Formerly Class M, now uninhabitable After Energy tapping [6]
Jinoteur I [7] The first of the five planets of the Jinoteur system. Jinoteur I had two moons, which, like all moons in the system, were in orbits such that they never came between the planet and the system's star. They also exhibited rotation in such a way that one hemisphere always faced away from the center of the system. Artificial structures stood on those outward facing hemispheres. Jinoteur I was uninhabited. [7]
Jinoteur II [7] The second of the five planets of the Jinoteur system. [7] Jinoteur II has two moons. [8]
Jinoteur III [7] The third of the five planets of the Jinoteur system. Jinoteur IV was not inhabited, although there were signs that it had been in the past. [7] The planet has two moons. [8]
Jinoteur IV [7] The fourth of the five planets of the Jinoteur system. [7] Jinoteur IV has three moons [8], one of which was the source of the mysterious signal which disrupted some of Starbase Vanguard's systems during the final stages of the station's construction. Like all the moons in the system, it orbited in such a way that one hemisphere always faced the star, whilst the moon itself never came between the star and the planet. [7]
Jinoteur V [7] The fifth of the five planets of the Jinoteur system. [7] A gas giant, Jinoteur V had four moons. [8]
Jouret IV [9] The Federation's New Providence colony was destroyed by the Borg here in 2366. [9]
