Zefram Cochrane makes a speech in which he reveals the Enterprise-E's and Borg's participation in the events surrounding his warp flight. He later recants, and given his reputation for telling tall tales the revelation is largely forgotten. [3]

The ECS Horizon is built. It is rumoured that Zefram Cochrane signed the casing of the warp reactor. [4]

The Warp 5 complex is founded on Earth, dedicated to building a warp engine capable of reaching over one hundred times the speed of light. Zefram Cochrane, now a resident of Alpha Centuri, departs on a trip into deep space afterwards. He vanishes, and is eventually presumed to have died in space. [6]

An Enterprise shuttlecraft is transporting Federation Commissioner Nancy Hedford to a rendezvous when it is pulled off course by an alien life form and crashlands on a habitable asteroid. Whilst there, Hedford succumbs to Sakuro's disease and dies. The alien being inhabits her body afterwards. [7]
