Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Admiral Forrest [1]
Species : Humans

Admiral Forrest was a major figure in Earth's Starfleet during the 2140s and 50s. [1] He headed the warp 5 project [2] and was Captain Archer's direct superior during the NX class Enterprise's exploratory mission. [3] He almost cancelled the mission when one of Enterprise's shuttlepods apparently caused the destruction of a mining colony with 3,000 fatalities [4], but Archer managed to prove that the Suliban were responsible for the act. [5] After the Xindi attack on Earth Forrest ordered Enterprise into the Expanse to locate the Xindi and prevent another attack, although he found it difficult to believe Archer's evidence that the Xindi were operating on information given to them from the future. [6]

Forrest was a keen supporter of joint missions between Humans and Vulcans, and went to Vulcan in 2154 to propose this to the Vulcan high command. Whilst there, he was killed when a terrorist bomb exploded at the Earth embassy. Syrrannites were suspected of causing the blast [7], but it proved to be a part of an elaborate government conspiracy. [8]
