He ordered Commander Maddox to carry out a dangerous procedure on Lieutenant Commander Data. [1] In 2370 Nakamura invited Captain Picard to the Starfleet Admiral's banquet, much to the captain's dread. Despite Nakamura's insistence, a crisis prevented Picard from attending. [2]
