A mid 22nd century Denobulan geologist, Yolen specialised in speleothems. In 2152 he was one of several Denobulans who worked on the planet Xantoras when the government there was overthrown by a coup. His party was evacuated form the planet by the NX-01 when the new government demanded that all aliens leave at once. He left the planet on an alien ship which was carrying an Antaran, despite the long history of prejudice between the two species. [1]
