A Klingon warrior, Krell was tasked with destroying the Qu'Vat colony in 2154 when a deadly virus broke out there as a result of the project to create Klingon Augments. When his own ship was infected with the virus by Phlox, who had a cure in his posession, Krell agreed to halt his attack and convinced the Klingon High Council to allow the colony to survive. [1]
