An Entharan arms dealer, Kovin negotiated to sell Voyager an iso-kinetic cannon in 2374. He was accused of assault by Seven of Nine, but although the evidence was extremely shaky Kovin chose to flee rather than face a prolonged investigation. He destroyed his ship whilst attempting to resist capture by Voyager, killing himself. [1]
