A member of the medical staff of the NCC 1701 Enterprise1, Jabilo2 M'Benga interned on a Vulcan ward and was considered an expert on Vulcan medicine.1 In 2265 he served on Starbase 47 (Vanguard) in the Taurus Reach.2 He would later transfer to the USS Enterprise, where his expertise with Vulcans was invaluable when Spock was shot whilst visiting the planet Neural.1
