Universe : Prime Timeline
Name : Deng
Species : Humans

A member of the Enterprise-D crew, Deng was a science officer. In 2369 she was assigned to work with Commander Daren in her efforts to protect the Bersallis colony from the approaching firestorms. When the firestorm arrived faster than predicted, Deng and several others were forced to remain on the surface to manually calibrate the deflector system. Although the system was overwhelmed, Daren managed to use the tema's phasers to produce resonance disruptions in the forcefield which allowed most of her people to survive. Deng returned to the Enterprise in the aftermath of the storm. [1]
