•1The civilization on Ventax II solve their social problems by signing a deal with Ardra, their equivalent of the Human devil. The pact agrees to make the planet and all its inhabitants the personal property of Ardra after one thousand years of peace and prosperity. An impostor attempts to claim the planet in 2367, but the ruse is uncovered by Captain Picard.1
