Ptera

Notes

Name : Ptera1
Species : Vhnori

Ptera was a Vhnori who died on her home planet and was sent through a subspace vacuole for transmission to the afterlife, as was the custom of her people. She appeared on Voyager, which was investigating the ring system the vacuoles actually led to, and was revived by the EMH. Ptera was extremely distressed to find that her ideas of the afterlife were incorrect, and requested that she be sent back through a vacuole to her home planet. The attempt failed and she died again, this time permanently.1
