Species : Humans
Manager at the Plexicorp factory in San Francisco during the late 20th century, Nichols gave Scotty and McCoy a tour of his facility when they journeyed to this time to retrieve a pair of humpbacked whales. Scotty gave Nichols the formula for transparent aluminium in return for a supply of plexiglass which he used to create a tank for the whales. Scotty rationalised his action by speculating that Nichols may have been the original inventor of the material, so rendering any temporal pollution issues moot.1
