A fanatical technophobe, Alixus deliberately marooned a ship full of colonists on a planet on which she had planeted a Duonetic field generator in order to neutralise all of their technology. Alixus was convinced that the colonists would come to appreciate living without technology, and in this she was largely proved right. However, many of the colonists lost their lives to diseases which would have been easily treatable with advanced medicine, a cost which Alixus was only too willing to inflict on others.1
