A Skreean, Tumak was one of the first of his people through the Bajoran wormhole in 2370. He found it difficult to adapt to life on Deep Space Nine, a situation not helped by Nog and Jake. When Haneek announced that her people were destined to settle on Bajor, Tumak was deeply upset when the Bajoran government refused to allow any Skreeans to settle there. He took a ship and attempted to make an illegal landing; when Bajoran ships intercepted him, Tumak fired on them and was in turn destroyed.1
