Religious leader of a Bajoran village, The Sirah used a fragment of one of the Orbs to convince the locals that an energy being was threatening them each year. He would then pretend to force the creature to retreat; by this method the Sirah would promote a sense of unity and togetherness in the village. When he died in 2369 O'Brien was named as his replacement, but the role eventually went to Hovath.1
