Sybok

Sybok

Sybok1
Species : Vulcans
Spock's half brother, Sybok was regarded as one of Vulcan's greatest minds. He rejected the Vulcan philosophy of emotional repression and became an outcast. Sybok was willing to use his telepathic abilities to alter the minds of others, 'brain washing' them into becoming loyal followers. Convinced that he could locate the mythical planet of Sha'ka'ree, Sybok hijacked the Enterprise-A and took it to the centre of the galaxy where he managed to penetrate the Great Barrier. He was killed by the alien entity on the planet.1
