Leader of the Klingon high council as of 2293, Gorkon was a reformer who wanted peace with the Federation. In the aftermath of the Praxis explosion Gorkon travelled to Earth to meet with the President; he was assasinated on route by Burke and Samno after his ship was disabled by General Chang.1
