Chairman Songi was the leader of Gamelan V in 2367 when the planet experienced large increases in radiation levels due to an alien ship. She feared that the vessel was hostile, but it was actually a garbage scow full of radioactive waste, adrift for centuries. The Enterprise-D was able to tow it into the local sun.1
